The Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars (Class A) beat the Gates-Chili Spartans (Class AA) to win the Section V Connors and Ferris Class A Bowl. The Cougars trailed early 14-0, but answered and tied up the game by halftime. Having the momentum to start the second half, the Cougars scored 14 more points in the 3rd and another 14 in the 4th quarter. When all was said and done the final was 42-34 in favor of HF-L. Dan Hart finished the night with 15 completions out of 28 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns. All of Hart’s touchdown passes were to Evan Quackenbush, who had eight catches for 79 yards.  The MVP of the night was Ryan Olivo who rushed for 125 yards on 25 carries and had two touchdowns. He also scored on a 65-yard kickoff return in the 4th quarter. Another offensive leader was Paul Tobin, who caught five passes for 110 yards.
